Border Security Force (BSF) is going to conduct All India Examination for direct recruitment to the posts of – Assistant Commandant (Logistic), Constable (Storeman) and Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub Inspector)
in BSF Air Wing for year 2014-15. Total vacancies- 28 posts. Interested
and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See
link below). Educational qualification required and other details in
brief, for informational purpose only in interest of job seeker, are
given below —
1. Assistant Commandant (Logistic): 1 (UR)
Qualification: Degree in Engineering or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers
OR MBA in Material Management
OR Degree in any discipline with post graduate diploma in Stores Management/Material Management.
Desirable—One year experience in Logistics or Aviation related field is desirable.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 yrs as on last date of application.
2. Constable (Storeman): 5 posts. (UR—1; OBC—2; SC—02)
Qualification: Matriculation pass with Science or equivalent and must have two years working experience in Store or ware housing. Working knowledge in Computer or having prior aviation experience is preferable.
Age Limit: Between 20yrs and 25yrs of age as on last date of application.
3. Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub Inspector): 45 posts.
— Mechanical: 22 posts (UR—12; OBC—05; SC—04; ST—01)
— Avionics: 23 posts (UR—13; OBC—06; SC—03; ST—01)
Qualification: 03yrs Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation or Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
Candidates should have two years relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course.
Age: Not exceeding 28yrs of age as on last date of application.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Standard Test/ Physical Efficiency Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
